Ceer, Saudi Arabia's first national EV brand, revealed the Exobot on 21 September 2026. In October it opened reservations for the First Edition at SAR 399,000, according to Zawya. Regular production starts in the first quarter of 2027, so you have time to plan where and how you will charge it.
What we know about charging the Exobot
- The First Edition has a 112 kWh battery and a range of up to 670 km for the sedan and 560 km for the SUV.
- Its 800-volt system charges the battery from 10% to 80% in under 30 minutes on a DC fast charger.
- Ceer has not yet announced the car's home AC charging power or connector type. The times below are our estimates, and we will update them when Ceer publishes the figures.
How long does a 112 kWh battery take to charge?
| Charger | Power | Time from 10% to 80% | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Single-phase home | 7 kW | about 11 hours | Overnight charging with normal daily driving |
| Three-phase home | 11 kW | about 7 hours | Villas and longer daily distances |
| Home or commercial | 22 kW | about 4 hours | Cars that accept 22 kW AC |
| DC fast | 150 kW or more | under 30 minutes | Highways and public stations |
Our estimate takes 78 kWh, which is 70% of the 112 kWh battery, and divides it by the charger's power, before charging losses. The car charges no faster than the lower of two limits, the charger's and the car's. Compare the options in our 7, 11 or 22 kW guide.
What to prepare now
- Check your electricity meter and main panel capacity now, and find out whether your home has single-phase or three-phase supply. A meter upgrade from the Saudi Electricity Company can take time, so start early.
- Choose where the charger will go. A shaded or covered spot protects it from the summer heat.
- Once Ceer announces its home charging power, pick a SASO-certified charger with the right power and an approved installer.
- Install and test the charger a few weeks before delivery so it works on day one.

Charging at work and on the road
Climatech installs and runs multiple chargers with a management system for commercial buildings and staff parking. Companies can plan now, before their employees' cars arrive. On the road, EVIQ is focusing its 2026 fast-charger rollout on highways such as Riyadh to Jeddah, according to Arab News. Compare the networks in our fast-charging guide.
